The Process
Auto Trim Design had an outdated logo that was also very difficult to read. My goal was to create something modern, slick and clean. A symbol that best represents the services they offer as well as be easily identifiable. This was one of those great logo projects where the need to concept several different ideas was unnecessary. From the get-go I had the vision of using the main focus of the business “cars” and incorporating that into the typography. So the T in Trim became the base for the sleek sports car symbol to rest on.
There was a bit more process involved beyond that point in nailing down the perfect red, but ultimately that choice was superb. I liken it to the Ford Mustang “Redfire” paint color.
